Anderson Cooper Cursed On 'CNN’s New Year’s Eve' & LOL
There were several NYE celebrations audiences could settle in with, but CNN's New Year's Eve was particularly lit. Early in the program, hosts Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen began taking shots, which some fans theorized was the reason they felt emboldened to tell a story involving Cooper's late mother saying the word "c*ck" when she was 93. Naturally, the news anchor repeated the word on-air, to the delight of audiences everywhere.
According to the Daily Mail, Cooper was referring to a time that he and his late mother Gloria Vanderbilt, who passed away earlier this year, were backstage at Watch What Happens Live. The heiress was concerned that the Bravo personality would ask her whose manhood was the biggest and asked her son as much.
Naturally, this same story came up during Tuesday night's broadcast. However, Cooper was hesitant to repeat her mother's story word-for-word, so Cohen took over. "She turned to Anderson and said, 'He's not going to ask me who has the biggest BEEP of anyone I've ever been with,' right?'" the Bravo personality recounted.
Cooper then corrected his co-anchor, saying, "She turns to me out of the blue and goes, 'He's not going to ask me who has the biggest c*ck in Hollywood, is he?'"
"And you said it!" Cohen responded.
Fans were similarly stunned and delighted to hear the Anderson Cooper 360 anchor recount this story. "Ive never been happier," @Blainev28 tweeted of his good-natured faux pas.
Fans were also laughing over Cooper's dramatic reactions to each shot. And at one point, the news anchor started licking his hands and wiping down his hair.
As he pointed out, he doesn't drink very often, so it seems like the shots hit him pretty hard.
But while Cooper and Cohen may have taken a few too many shots, fans seemed delighted by their storytelling abilities swear words and all.
